Data, Not Debate. Why Local Climate Action Matters

We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Professor Peter Stott MBE to the Moray CAN Climate Conference.

Peter is a global leader in climate science – the person who helped prove that human activity is driving global temperature rise, and the first to link a specific weather event (the 2003 European heatwave) to climate change. He’s also the author of Hot Air: The Inside Story of the Battle Against Climate Change Denial, which offers a powerful look at the fight to keep science at the heart of climate policy.

At the conference, Peter will be sharing why data not debate must guide our response to climate change, and why local solutions are not just helpful, but absolutely essential.
