We are very pleased to welcome Professor Peter Stott, giving us an overview of his work into climate modelling and monitoring, and how this can be used in the future to predict climate change.
Researcher Kerry McInnes from Moray University of Highlands and Islands and David Blair from the Moray Trade Union Council, will discuss the skills needed for Moray's transition from oil and gas to renewables.
Speakers on the day will also explore local solutions for coastal erosion and adaptations, as well as new research into Moray's food growing potential, aiming for more localised food systems. A panel of youth representatives from Moray will lead discussions.
